During the 1 whole month( 24NOV to 24 DEC)working as a temporary assistant at the student affair dept at TARC has given me the right experiences to prepare me for the real life working society.
i learn a little skills, not much more than using a Photostatting machine to Photostat papers, arranging papers, receive calls from other staffs, people from other company calling in for posting the vacancy to TARC, lecturers of TARC to ask for enquiries etc.
besides that, my works scope extends beyond Photostatting and paper works like typing, sometimes i got to do pass some documents help other staffs from other dept like estate dept to arrange tables and chairs for exam purposes and so on.
well within the 1 whole month that i have worked there, a string of activities are being held, these include TARC investment games, election for Student Welfare Society(SWC), TARC open days. Not only that Yee Weng and i have to help Miss Ng to prepare for the stuffs like banners, prospectus books,calenders etc to bring along to edu fair exhibition which is being ran at Jit SIn, Traders Hotel, Alor Setar for the whole weeks.
through all these activities and preparations, i have not only learnt how to prepare for these stuffs , but i do also learn how to deal with people nicely. A simple wish of Good morning and Hello, Mr or Miss would makes a day for all of us, esp the person being greeted.=)
As there are plenty of lecturers coming in and out for Photostatting and printing purposes, i always greet them and they too have in return greeted me too.
thus, if you first be nice with people , people will always be nice to you too.=)
As u guys know, we as a juniors should always take the initiatives to greet those senior first, smile to them and show your friendliness towards them. and i believe most of them would be good to you as well, and the friendly, happy relationships are created , eventually lead to a long lasting sustainability of a nice atmosphere at work place.=)
Not only that, i have met a very nice people too. yee Weng and Ah Goon in particular. you guys are real nice. thanks for the support and guidances provided during my tenure there. haha..=)
