Scholars should be all rounders?
As we know, scholarships choosing criteria include academic, extra co-curricular activities, interview performance and family financial status. What I want to highlight here is extra co-curricular activities.
Do we need a scholar to be an all-rounder? Okay, I think some posts are required, to prove that you have leadership, but somehow, does it matter for a scholar to be a leader? In this world, we need leaders as well as followers. What would happen if everybody wants to be leader? Who's going to lead and who's going to follow? Sometimes, leaderships are skills born with. Isn't it unfair for those who are without leaderships? They can't grab any post in school. So, they're underdogs in scholarship competition. However, do we need everybody to be leader? Take doctor as example, do we need so many "Datuk Seri Dr......"? Doctors' job is to treat patients, do we need leaderships here?
Post-grabbing competition in schools is really cruel and bloody, backstabbings are common. It's a battlefield, and those involved are normally "good students" or more precise, "academically good students". The final aim is always.....scholarship.
Then, the next issue is sports. I can understand, a well-balanced student should involve in sports other than books. However, not everyone can be representative. An academicaly excellent student who plays badminton during free time, but not good enough to represent the school, and another better-than-average student but very good in badminton, representing state. Which one do you choose? Some are born sportsmen, isn't it quite unfair?
Is it that an engineer, doctor, pharmacist, dentist etc...... must be an all-rounder?
I truly do not believe that positions reflect a person's true leadership skills. Positions only show someone's bargaining skills - political skills. At my school, people get posts by saying, "Eh, if I suggest you for the post, you must suggest me also ah!"
Then, the club either ends up inactive or is active without the leader around. In the end, the credit goes to the president. Bullsh*t.
To me, leadership skills come from the little little things in a person's life. You lead your siblings to academic success by doing homework with them. You set a good example by doing household chores, etc. You become someone whom your friends/siblings look up to.
And when these forms of leadership become evident, you take up heavier tasks. You get elected because of your skills and capabilities, not politics.
What's written on paper (scholarship applications) do not measure these kinds of leadership. What they (the sponsors) want is the end product. "Oh, you're the president of this. Good!" In the end, the person they see is someone very quiet who lacks ideas in an active discussion.
And yes, doctors, for example, do require leadership skills. Like I said, it's the little things that count. A doctor leads other ancillary staff (nurses, MAs, etc.) to perform a task at the highest possible quality. A doctor has to make sure that everyone's on the same boat - to provide the best healthcare, and not be taken aback by other things.

Interview Tips and Techniques
From:Students doctor net
The school interview inspires anxiety and anticipation in many applicants. A test of poise and communication skills, the interview is a key component of the school application package.
The process inherently benefits those who are:
Relaxed
Sincere
Articulate
Aware - of both their own motivations for seeking medicine (i.e., self-awareness) and “externally” aware (i.e., current events, salient healthcare issues)
Able to comfortably carry on a conversation covering a wide range of topics (which stems from all of the above).
Just as the applicant has tirelessly worked to tackle challenging courses, study for the admissions test, and polish a personal statement, work needs to be done to prepare for the interview. While school interviews are largely casual and friendly affairs (a far cry from, say, “stress” interviews held in some areas of finance and consulting) it is entirely possible to “tank” the interview by adopting a laissez-faire approach.
The following myths should be dispelled by the informed applicant at once:
Interviews are mostly a formality; once you are offered an interview you’re at least guaranteed a spot on the wait list.
Interviews are biased toward extroverts and native English speakers. It’s much harder to get a good score if you’ve got a thick accent, speak softly, or are quiet.
There is no real way to prepare for medical school interviews, since you won’t know in advance what questions will be asked.
Schools vary regarding how much importance they place on the interview versus the paper application. In general, top-tier schools will lend more importance to the interview - especially as a deciding factor between two exceptional candidates. Sifting through an abundance of stellar-on-paper applicants, they often turn to the interview to assess honesty, enthusiasm, sincerity and the intangible qualities of personal rapport that come across in the interview.
Getting an Interview
What does receiving the offer of an interview mean? This, of course, is a complex question varying from school to school. In brief, receiving an interview means one of two things:
Based on your grades, test scores and secondary applications, you have passed the initial hurdles of score screening and essay review, making either a numbers-based cutoff process or passing an individual committee member’s screen.
Your application was perhaps sub-par or borderline in terms of scores, academic performance, etc., but the committee is intrigued by other aspects of your application and wants to evaluate further via an in-person interview.
The linking factor between scenarios 1 and 2, as the astute applicant might have gathered, is that the interview-invited candidate has an advantage in both cases. In either case, the applicant has impressed the committee to the point where they would like to know more, where they see a potential fit, a potential acceptance. In that sense, receiving an interview acceptance represents a very positive development in the applications process - more so than, for example, receiving a secondary. Drawing from this reality, the conclusion that follows is very important:
Once you have received an interview, the goal of getting an acceptance is within striking distance.
The corollary is that under preparing, underperforming or otherwise botching an interview can essentially lower a stellar “on-paper” candidate to the point where he/she is wait-listed or rejected. I have reviewed the files of high-scoring MCAT/GPA candidates with a very impressive paper application who were out right rejected by the committee - after painful interviews showed them to be uncertain, haughty or passionless. Thus, the final conclusion, and the one that applicants should take home:
Acing an interview - and earning an acceptance - is almost entirely within the applicant’s control.
Preparing for the Interview
With that said, here are the top strategies for preparing for a medical school interview:
Know thyself. You must have a very clear, convincing, and sincere knowledge of a) why you want to attend school more than anything else and b) what you have done - activities, volunteering, research, etc. - that supports your reasons as evidence. You get a discrete block of time - 2-3 minutes - to answer the question, “So why do you want to go to (medical, dental, pharmacy…) school?” This is one of the most important questions of the interview. Within that time, you should be able to articulate your true reasons and come across as honest, logical, convincing and real. Having interviewed hundreds of insincere candidates, admissions committees are quickly able to spot a half-hearted, passionless, or - worst of all - dishonest answer, rendering the applicant to the bottom of the admissions pile.
Know why School X is the best place for you. Not surprisingly, admissions committees want to accept candidates who would be likely to accept the acceptance. It looks better for the school and the school’s rankings if, say, 90% of candidates offered acceptances decide to matriculate. Thus, if you come across as someone likely to take that spot if offered, your chances of admissions will increase. Caution: As in #1, schools will quickly identify candidates who are more hot air than genuine substance. “Substance”-qualifying reasons include: working with researcher X who is a specialist at the school, curriculum-specific initiatives that are only seen at school X, wanting to pursue a career in an area where school X is renowned or offers unusual opportunities. Coming up with reasons for attending a school leads to #3:
Research the school thoroughly, backwards and forwards. This is more than just a quick glance through the website. Understand latest developments in the curriculum. What areas were recently changed? How has the school revamped or made innovations in its program recently? What are some of the accomplishments of graduates and current students? What are some areas of ongoing research? The questions are numerous and will be tailored to each applicant’s interest (i.e. service outreach, basic science lab opportunities, international relief efforts, clinical training and simulation, to name a few) . But the key is to spend several hours (yes, hours) analyzing and understanding information to answer them in full.
Above all, be humble and sincere. This does not mean downplay your significant accomplishments. But always remember where they’ve come from: it is rare that a stellar applicant has reached his or her heights without help. Often, there is a mentor, a teacher, a volunteering experience, a parent or patient that has paved the way. It is perfectly fine to describe your outstanding achievements, awards, discoveries, cutting-edge research, critical acclaim, etc. But add that “I-remember-where-I’ve-come-from” angle: how you are thankful to Mentor X or Professor Y for their tireless help, how you are inspired to give back to the community (only if you are, of course!), how you hope to be like Doctor Z, etc.
Do. Not. Lie. Under ANY circumstances. Often, the truth has a funny way of revealing itself. And if it is ever found that the applicant lied under any circumstances: it is automatic rejection and a firmly closed door on the application process.
It would be very useful then!:)

What More on the facilities Of KMK~~
Exhibition
Bussiness..
Another small business.:)
Exhibition of books!
Admin Buildings
The omen of a raining day . (Field of KMK)
During the celebrations of Hari RAya :table decorations competition
Nice one:)
During the time when Pengarah BMKPM attends the inaugurations of Arkib Ceremony
The view of HEP!
The events are great..everything in KMK is nicely planned and organised, I feel so lucky being part of KMK students as KMK do provide us easy accessibility of sport and recreations, library, internet connection and so forth. You can easily access to internet as there are library which has the server, Pusat serambi which got the PC and Internet for every students conveniences.
The allocations of funds in upgrading the facilities of KMK is much laudable, Indeed this efforts have been regarded as a good move in enhancing the performance of teachers and students. This indirectly improve and makes the environment conducive to teaching and learning process .
well, it is not about how much we care about the advanced facilities , but it is upon how much we care about the conveniences of students and teachers. well done to the newly built up of pusat serambi, BBq centre which near the guard house for various activities of students ,the Dewan Banquet which initially able to accommodates 200 students for lecturing purposes, and many many more. Actually, the dewan banquet can be put into better use such as adjusting a little bit the position of the chairs so that every students can look clearly what is on the screen. though initially pengarah receives lots of complaint, i think it is a good move if the position and placement of the chairs at Dewan banquet can be adjusted if possible upgrading it. As i see there is lots of classes have been so rushing here and there and make the Dewan Kuliah besar 1 and 2 more compact and crowded!
All in all, cheers to all of the staffs ( Pengarah, lecturers etc etc)of KMK working so hard to enhance the facilities.Good job !

Multilingual presentation! Awesome
I came across this youtube about a man who is so versatile.he is able to converse in different languages ranging from:Mandarn, malay.indonesian language, Spanish, darnish,French, japanese etc...
i like the way he converse in mandarin.it really sounds like a native speaker. Oh How well he speaks ! Hmm..even i myself haven't on the effort of mastering the original and genuine accent of mandarin, just like what China people speak mandarin!
Well, his efforts of mastering various languages around the globe is very laudable and commendable. Salute his efforts as a great linguistics expert! Being able to converse in different languages definetely land us a good future and of course a lucrative salary. people would searching for you in order to fill their vacancy just because of your versatile talents. Communicating is the tool of conveying what you want to say, the thoughts as well as your final intention .
Thus though i as a chinese living in malaysia, able to converse the three main languages: Mandarin, malay and english, i always want to upgrade and make myself to learn more the other languages of the world like Japanese and french. Japanese and Chinese are pretty important as well. The Japanese place a great emphasis on their language, and they are proud of it. If you can use their native language with them, it will be easier to deal with them. And Japan is the country which maintain their glory of economic boom using their mother tongue in discovering and advancing their technological fields!
The UN has six official languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish. The Secretariat uses two working languages, English and French.
English is an official language in 52 of UN's member states, French in 29, Arabic in 24, Spanish in 20, Russian in 4, and Chinese in 2.
In my opinion,English itself is known as Germanic language. English evolved from the Saxons who are Germanic peoples. etc etc etc. Most important foreign language right now is Mandarin. However I recommend Spanish as well. If your English is good, take up Spanish because the grammar is similar and also you can find word commonalities now and then. There is one caveat on this though. If your English is not at a first language level then I suggest you master that first.
Spanish is somewhat similar to English in the usage of certain phrases . I learn Japanese by watching animes and dramas when i am free.LOL :)

After Matriculation...What next?!
Basically it is going to be a peak period for both matriculation and STPM students to enter universities sooner.Even me myself would consider this as my part of entering a completely different pathway and paradigm of life. Whichever universities that i might get , it is all upon my academics result and of course upon the God 's hand . Some may find it unlucky to get the courses that they don;t really like while some might get what they want and of course their so called ideal universities.
For me, getting UM or USM is just like a dream come true, probably because it is much more recoginsed and famous in terms of their years of research and high class facilities. USM main campus is at Penang, while UM located at lembah Pantai , KL.
Some may say it is rather difficult to enter UM , some even say it you need at least band 5 for MUET, then only you are eligible to gain admission into UM. well, this really makes me anxious as i doubt whether i could get into UM or not since my MUET is just a mere band 4.
But as what i opine, as long as you could meet the minimum requirements , you are eligible to enter UM. but of course you have to face a stiff competition if you are applying for critical courses such as pharmacy, medicine and dentistry. This does'nt make me worried as i am not fully aiming for all these critical courses! :)
This is what one of my friends advise me :'Actually, the 1st choice is very important, this is also according to the unis' representatives. Make sure that your CGPA is above the cut-off point. Because if your CGPA is lower than that, you will not get a place. And when they put your name to your 2nd choice, you will have to be on the waiting list behind those who put that course as their 1st choice. If you didn't get the course again, you will be on the waiting list again for your 3rd choice. This time behind those that put the course as their 1st or 2nd choice.
So, in the end, you may not get any course in your 8 choices. That's why every year there are a lot of sutdents who failed to get the course they want or even failed to get a place.
Make your 1st choice wisely, don't think of 'cuba-cuba', you may not get a place. Choose a course that you are confident you qualify for it. '
What he is saying is totally right, that is why every students must think wisely in choosing their course. or else you might be end up in the appeal case. You have to wait till december where your appeal is deemed as successful only can you enter universities. As far as I know, you can't put all 8 choices to be the same one, in fact, it is very dangerous to do so. If you fail to get in that one, you are not going to get anything.

Happy Birthday to kai Ping..

Love Cake'Selamat hari Jadi'LOL
Desmond, wei kuang, shen yuan, loqman and me..LOL
All of us really work hard to strike a good result, Though many of my friends have come back to their respective hometown, but still we keep in touch via MSN, SMS etc..The modern bridge that makes connectivity possible.:)
Desmond Poh, a game addict like you have always shown to us that playing Dota, CS have never been a obstacles in achieving your good result. Frankly, desmond is the guy who always matter his games more than his result , but eventually or should i say miraculously, he score a decent result though u won't believe that he is the games-savvy and having his laptop on for a whole day. This is what the thing that i salute him.
Anyway, between study and play, we have to strike a balance between that, no work and play makes Jack a dull boy, that is what i firmly believe that playing do play a part in our life in lifting up our spirit and get us more energised and be more motivated. that is why i usually fork up my time to cycling at 5pm around my college compound. but..still..loads of assignments and rushing syllabus makes me feel stress and couldn't make it possible to take some time for recreations. :(
Studying at matriculation college is indeed the stressful time ever, Don't get me wrong by saying that it is far more easy than STPM or whatever Pre u, Ok?! You ca always prove that i am right by going through the syllabus concerned. though the exam questions look easy, but it is some sort of tricky. You never realise it until you have finished answering.Just pray hard that i could get a decent result for PSPM2 which would be known next month. Seriously, i am so careless in that final exam. Hopefully, i can still get the satisfying result..:)
Various titbits on Kolej Matrikulasi Kedah(KMK) events.
The scenery at DKB for the celebration of winter solicit..
this is being snapped during Deepavali celebration
behind us is the signature of the guests coming to this grand celebration:)
This is being snapped during CNY celebrations. See, so red the tanglung are!
Well, this is our pride-Dewan Kuliah Besar(Lecture HAll)
Nothing to write ..so far..just a few picture to reminisces back the time when we are right at here-KOlej Matrikulasi kedah!:)
~'everyday is the Birthday right at KMK'~ ^^
Well, why i say so ? haha..because, numerous birthdays party to all of us may sound a bit dull. but for me ,it is still alright, i still enjoy it!:)
To celebrate somebody birthday appears to be the most daunting task to you? No NO,it is very exciting and fun though it may burn you some pocket money, so far right at KMK, i have attended 4 birthday parties held by some friends like Chun hean,Kai Ping, wei Zhong, Fu yong..well, it may sound like what a crazy big party , even me myself have not celebrate my birthday which falls on 2nd feb .Haha..i am quite humble, for me, it doesn't matter as long as you realise that you are older by 1 year old, and cross your fingers to pray that your wishes may come true. That is all! Perhaps celebrating birthday is regarded as a remembrance of your date of birth. it will be much more appropriate and filial if we could give thanks to our mum on the day of our birthday. Don't you guys agree with that? It would be more meaningful and bring up a kind of appreciation towards your mum's period of gestation and labouring while she suffers ceaselessly in order to give birth of a young life, that is you, me and ours!
Thus birthday is all about the joyous and appreciations towards you mum , or perhaps your dad too. they are the one that care for us, nurture us and guide us all the way long. From the day you are in cradle till the day when you have grown up and be independent& able to survive yourself they are the one that always be on our side . See, how great our parents love is meant to us.
Back to the topic, birthday celebrations are getting common and common in KMK, ranging from a bunch of birthday wishes notes to a big freaking exciting party, after all, it is the fun and sweetest moments that we get to experience that matter to us the most! :)
In the dark surrounding, there is a light of 'hope'..LOL..Po Jun and Vyian .Some say it can be a nice picture to be advertised into the front page of our school magazines:)
Nice snap!
Happy Birthday to everyone!! wow..what is that as you may ask. it is just a mere prank of birthday..(In reality, it is Fuyong Birthday)..! Ha!
Another nice snap!
Warmest regards! YEAH!

Foreign workers?! waste or worth?
This is a very serious topic for all of us to be considered. thus far, there have been so many foreigners influx into our country. The reasons behind this is to get lucrative jobs in Malaysia. The debate about foreign workers have going on and on for decades and people just could not come up with a simple conclusion. Its kind of difficult to tolerate when the number of entering foreign workers are in the rise and also especially when the statistics of crimes among foreign workers are also exponentially increasing. Kind of agree with some you guys who said that we have to treat them the best we could. But remember, Malaysia never wants to be unjust to its own citizen. When there are still a huge amount of Malaysians who need help in many sorts of way, attending to this foreign workers and starting to give priority to them would definitely end up in a chaotic and unpleasant situation.
Well, this struck me to think that foreigners being in Malaysia can create a lots of criminal problems. Just yesterday, not so far from my house, there happen a murder case where an Indonesian maids were killed brutally. This surprise so many of our residents as this is the 1st case happening in our neighbourhood. Police came around and doing the investigation last night.
well, this has been a case of the norm happening around Malaysia whereby you would happen to look at the news of in Indonesian maids being killed, raped and exploited for by people especially the deceptive agent.
This brought another issues which are quite rampant nowadays-Human Trafficking!
Most of us take these freedoms for granted, but hundreds of thousands of people throughout the world have had these basic human rights taken away. They are victims of trafficking – modern-day slaves -- and criminals have forced, defrauded, or coerced them into various forms of labor.
human trafficking has been a worrying issue these days in almost any part of the world. Women, especially young teenagers easily become victims of these heartless predators. It is a horrible and inhumane act to treat another human as an item that can be easily traded or sold for money.
It won't be easy to track down these creatures (the predators? They don't deserve to be called humans) as they have various ways to disguise themselves as ordinary folks and have various types of tricks to lure their victims. The method of prevention must come from ourselves. Most importantly, every one of us should be more wary of our surroundings and learn not to trust any strangers so easily. Although that may make you seem unsociable and unfriendly, it is always better to be safe than be sorry.
There is actually a movie that all of you should watch: "Taken". It has some disturbing parts about how they conduct women trafficking but it is a good movie to spread awareness about security measures a women should take while travelling alone overseas.
Moving on issues of foreigners,Well I guess the main question is whether or not Malaysia is having a lot job opportunities that foreigners such as Bangladeshi and Indonesians find it easy to find jobs in Malaysia compared to their home country. Coming back to the point where Malaysia is considered by many major companies as possible sites for business process outsourcing (BPO), this will definitely increase the fact that many foreign companies will start setting up their plans in Malaysia, such as Intel.
Not only because of the BPO, but also another major determinant is because of the cheap labor that Malaysia offers. Sadly, many Malaysians do not consider working is places such as sanitaries a good starting point....well who does anyway!!! But we can't run away from the fact that there are still people in Malaysia who under educated and in need of job to support themselves and their families. But...they still resist in working in such condition. So that's why there's gonna be a lot of opportunity going to waste or should I say going to these foreigners. I'm not hinting that its a bad idea that we let all this opportunities go to them but if we are prepared to do so...well we better be prepared in accepting them in our society.
i think that Malaysia should start limiting the amount of unprofessional foreign workers. We are certainly not yet the boiling pot of Asia, and if we are gonna be one we definitely have to be ready to accommodate all these people coming in.

The UN's International Labor Organization estimates that worldwide about 2.5 million people are victims of trafficking !
Over half of these people are in Asia and the Pacific .
Criminals earn an estimated US$10 billion every year through buying and selling human beings.

To all of my KMK friends:
We used to be frightened and scared to try
Of things we don't really understand why
We laugh for a moment and start to cry
We were crazy
Now that the end is already here
We reminisce 'bout old yells and cheers
Even if our last hurrahs were never clear
Farewell to you my friends
We'll see each other again
Don't cry 'cause it's not the end of everything
I may be miles away
But here is where my heart will stay
With you, my friends with you
Yesterday's a treasure, today is here
Tomorrows' on its way, the sky is clear
Thank you for the mem'ries of all the laughters and tears
And not to mention our doubts and our fears
The hypertension we gave to our peers
It's really funny to look back after all of these years
Farewell to you my friends
We'll see each other again
Don't cry 'cause it's not the end of everything
I may be miles away
But here is where my heart will stay
With you, my friends with you
Farewell to you my friends
We'll see each other again
Don't cry 'cause it's not the end of everything
I may be miles away
But here is where my heart will stay
With you, my friends with you
With you, my friends with only you.

Israel - Palestine War~
I find it rather difficult to upload pictures recently. i don't know why.
Perhaps something went wrong with my PC.
Anyway, this topic is of the humanity and concerning about the issues of mankind that strike me sometimes ago. Anyway, i will still post my opinion on it:
Not a long time ago,i remember my college just had a peaceful protest against the Israeli-Palestinian war; it was held at the KMK mosque for the Muslims and the hall for the non-Muslims.There is even a short video pertaining to how Israel suffering and the darkest side beyond the act of humanity. Yes this indeed bring up the sense of sympathy among all of our KMK students, including me .It is very pathetic to see the nations of Palestine suffer endlessly, beheaded by people of Israel and even get bombed obliviously. They live in a dark hell, facing an unknown and bleak future, anytime , anywhere they could be bombed and killed in the nick of time. it makes my tear flowing through my cheek at the end of the show.Try to think if you were in this kind of situations, what would you do? what is you feelings? For sure, it is very hard to describe, even me myself would say :OMG, it is going to end, Anguish ,desperate ,numb and sorrow were the only feeling that i could roughly felt!
How cruel they, don't they think it is far more better if we live peacefully and harmoniously without having any war crisis ?! some of my Malay friends do protest against Israel, they boikot the products of America like coke etc.I still remember the poster that they pasted on their own respective dorm. For me ,having such protests has nothing to gain at last.Maybe it can show our frustrations towards the war crisis. Even so, I find this excessively redundant and unhelpful. We can shout all we want in the protests, burn the Israel flag and show our support for the Palestinians,we can ban and Boikot those coca-cola and the stuffs of America to show our anger towards American support for Israel.Yes all this thing but that would do nothing to stop the war and ease the suffering of the Palestinians.
I do not condone war, but I do not personally condone protests that end up being nowhere. Surely we could come up with something more constructive!
Among the issues that have been brought up during the israel - Gaza conflict:
Most Malaysians are ignorant of the Palestine history and issues. Muslims support it because most Palestinians are Muslims and non-Muslims don’t support because they think it is a purely Muslim problem.
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad urged the Government to stop purchasing arms and weapons from the United States, Israel’s main backer and supporter.
there may be members of the public who are wary of various groups suddenly stepping forward to raise donations and campaign for the Palestinians since the Israeli offence on the Gaza Strip last month
And here is the resolutions that a non governmental group ( COMPLETE) would wish to take upon:
~providing financial support for medicine and other medical supplies to hospitals in Gaza, West Bank and Palestinian refugee camps
~to sponsor medical treatment for Palestinians who suffer from serious, long-term illnesses as well as rehabilitation treatment for injured Palestinians, particularly children.
~to bring over Gaza victims who are seriously wounded and traumatised to Malaysia for treatment, especially children.
But......they need sponsorships to assist in the implementation of their aids:
Here is it:
~sponsorship from airlines to transport the Palestinian war victims to Malaysia; hospitals and physicians who would waive treatment fees; and families or hotels who can provide accommodation for victims’ families.
~Focusing on the long-term rehabilitation programme is also a way to maximise support for the Gaza victims.
~provide some psychological treatment to help the victims get over their trauma
Lets get our best to help those in need.

Festive celebration in KMK-Deepavali~
Living and studying at this multicultural and multicustomal college, we guys won;t miss the chance of seeing various cultural performances right at KMPP, This may sound fun and exhilarating to many of us as we have the experience of watching all these colourful and magnificent performances.
So far, there are various celebrations that had been taken placed such as CNY celebration, tung Zhi( winter Solicit),Hari Raya and Deepavali celebrations etc.
Here is the brief description and the events that are going on during Deepavali:
A group of Indians have done their best in doing all kinds of preparations works for this festive celebration. Salute their efforts!
A group of us posting during the Deepavali celebration.
exhibition of the titbits regarding Anything about Deepavali&Ponggol Festivals.
Indian dance caught the most attention of all.:)
Guess what?! Hmmm...the decoration of a big'labu'.
Nice piece of works, it can be comparable to those done by Michelengalo.LOL

The best things in life!
It makes my day when i came across this piece of wrtting: here it goes:
A woman gets on a bus with her baby. The bus driver says: “That's the ugliest baby that I've ever seen. Ugh!” The woman goes to the rear of the bus and sits down, fuming. She says to a man next to her: “The driver just insulted me!” The man says: “You go right up there and tell him off – go ahead, I'll hold your monkey for you.” After reading that, did you feel a sudden surge to the sky, a dosage of sunshine and finally, the inevitable bursting laughter? No, I did not mistakenly post this article to Reader’s Digest for the joke segment. Indeed, one of the best things in life is none other than laughter.
Since we were adorable cuddly babies, the windows of joy and laughter fling widely open to welcome the many humorous experiences in life. Whether if it’s a peek-a-boo from our fathers or smearing tomato sauce on the dining table, there is always the majestic melodies and beautiful chorus of laughter that spreads like a charming song to the entire family. At the notorious age when we were clowns at primary school, laughter was served 24 hours a day. We laugh when Spongebob Squarepants foolishly pulls down his boxers on television. We laugh when we make our mothers scream to the top of their lungs at the sight of shattered vases. We laugh when we play Power Rangers with balloon swords with the kids next door. Somehow, as children, we are oblivious to the dark gloomy clouds that shade the soul but astonishingly embrace the sunshine rays, colourful rainbows and clear blue sky in life. When life seems devoid of life like a dry well, it is up to us to open the floodgates of happiness, just like the children we used to be. Like Michael Pritchard said “You don’t stop laughing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop laughing.”
I could swear that the best days of my life are those when I was at school. School was like a circus with its own breed of humour, an endless pit of the wackiest jokes and an ocean wide of laughable experiences. I fondly remember playing wrestling, hide and seek and the coolest card games with the best of friends, always with abundant bellows of laughter. We quenched our thirst of juicy gossips on teachers, girls, celebrities, movies and practically everything under the sun, always with deafening giggles and clenched stomachs. When seniors splashed icy cold water and drew our faces like cartoon characters with markers, even the most passive of students find it impossible to not carve the smiles of angles. When we took part in school plays or dramas, we can’t avoid a deafening hall and saliva drooling from wide open mouths when John puts on coconuts and twiddles his long fake hair. Even when we jumped like zoo monkeys when lashed at the buttocks by the discipline master, there was always still room for tonnes of teases, jokes and laughter for all to share.
Now, when you have the liberty of looking back at the joke above without exploding like you just watched a Stephen Chow movie, there is another important value which is portrayed by the mother. The love for our family, friends and others; now that is also one of the best things in life ever. As Robert Frost cleverly puts “Love is the irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired.” It is that warm blanket of comfort we seek from others to architect a life that is concretely meaningful and solidly wonderful. The first people I would like to dedicate my love to are my parents. Who were the ones that taught you to write like J.K. Rowling, speak like Barack Obama and sing like Mariah Carey? Who were the ones who became Mother Theresa to passionately comfort you when you were sick? Who drew swords like Alexander the Great to protect you from the arsenals of harm and armies of danger? They mean the world to me and played a crucial role in moulding, twisting and shaping a product as brilliant as me today. Yes, they can sometimes nag till the cows come home or rule me like dictators with an iron fist, but at the deepest trenches of their heart, I know they sincerely love me.
Like anyone out there, the world transforms into a roller coaster of fun and excitement when we hang out with our friends. They were the ones that taught me how to solve brain-numbing algebra questions and chalk up essays as thick as phone directories in school. They were the ones that accompany you to the movies and chat with you at the coffee stall till past midnight. They were the ones that spread the seeds of happiness and love when visiting you during Chinese New Year festivals. They were the ones that willingly shared our problems and offered a shoulder to cry on. You may call that friendship, but to me, that are the rubies and diamonds of love that should be locked into a treasure chest, a precious thing we should safeguard. Without the love of friends, life would be black and white without the kaleidoscope of colours, cheers and thrills which are the keys to the door of a rich and fulfilling life.
In a nutshell, the best things in life are truly just the simple flavourful acts in life that are right in front of us to savour. To laugh when a joke is heard or to hug your loved ones: those are already the best things in life anyone can dream of and far outweighs any other factors in our lives. When there is laughter, there is always love and when there is love, there is always laughter. I am only seventeen and still have a long life ahead of me and dreams for me to achieve. But to look back in life and to rekindle the fondest of memories, it is always the ones with love and laughter that stand head and heels above the rest. As what E.E. Cummings said : “The most wasted of all days is one without laughter” Therefore, the next time you wake up from bed, brush your teeth, wash your face, greet your family, eat your breakfast and head to work with a radiant smile on your face with blessings count. Just don’t have a memory of a goldfish diagnosed with Alzheimer’s by remembering to change your pyjamas.

Views on the life & food at KMK
Being a chinese in KMK not say to be very lucky or unlucky, for me it is a very broad view based on your respective perspectives. Well, having been in KMK for a mere 1 year, unity is indeed another element that has been ingrained in my heart. I learnt to mix with people from various culture, religions and customs.Though initially it would be very difficult, i feel that i am still able to adapt myself very well to that environment with the passing time, As what a proverb says: When in Rome, do what as Romans do!I understand that it is going to be a very useful when i learnt to pick up the skills of mixing and mingling with other races in harmonious ways. Living in this multicultural country, it is a must and an advantage to learn to live without racial issues or segregation based on skin colour. That is too for the sake of realising the Vision 2020 for a strong integrity among the wholesome MALAYSIANS!

Talking about the food, sooner did i feel a kind of disgusting whenever i have them daily, curry chicken, fried chicken, and the food in every CAfe are very unhygienic.all the day you would encounter fried chicken everywhere, till it makes me phobia of. How am i longing to have my mum favourite cuisine and all this while i always dream of coming back to penang to escape from the dirty and boring food at KMK. But still, i have to be used to eat these malay food the following months.
admin cafe is the worst at all, followed by Cafe A and so on. Frankly, i have found housefly three time at my food, gonna puke out upon discovering this little disgusting creature!!
haiz, this is the greatest disadvantages when you are living out, eating out and getting yourself to be very independent while struggling hard to live without your mum and dad 's care!!!
luckily i am able to handle all this as i am quite independent since i was young. this all have to thank my mum for not letting me to be 'rotten' . Haha..
anyway, my wishes are to set up a Chinese food cafe at KMK or at least a food stall at KMK. this would greatly benefits and satisfying majority Chinese students at KMK, which i believe. You know what though the Chinese students comprise for a minority of 10% but, the figures of 200++ should not be overlooked, I think the suggestions for setting up a Chinese food stalls and the precautions for keeping the food clean and free of houseflies are very vital . JPP should bring up this matter to tuan pengarah for considerations for the sake of the junior generations:)

The experimental moments at KMK
It is another gloomy day that i felt like idling at home doing nothing.
For the past few months, i have no time for updating my blogs due to the unavailability and the inconveniences at my college. There is still a room of improvement for KMK to update the facilities though the current facilities are considered as good!LOLz
Lets me talk about the days where we are having plenty of experiments to do.
As we all know, as a science students , experiment is one thing that we couldn't avoid of. No matter how much unwilling you are towards different kinds of experiments , you still have to be patient and enthusiastic enough to perform several experiments. For me it is quite Ok as far as i am not exposed to any undesirable accidents while on the labs. HAha.
I am not so keen on performing experiments but still some of them are really intriguing me .just like the isolating of DNA from fruit sap . the Kiwi and banana samples that we are using to extract the DNA out and prove there is a existence of DNA. It is rather interesting to know this hereditary materials that make up the unique living organisms of our human. I thank Gods for creating us on such a unique way. DNA is a genetic materials that is passed from one generation to another generation and that is what make us to possess our parents unique traits .:)
Biology seem interesting to me compared to chemistry. Every weeks, we would have a period of two hours experiments for both subjects and guess what?! it is an interesting period whereby we can learn anything ranging from organic chemistry, the aromatic compounds to amines.
My the only chinese classmate Kee Khang Way and Kak Yati. 3 of us posting in our 'doctor garments'^^
Snap a picture with chemistry lecturer_-Pn Aznita Hani during the last day of our chemistry experiment..
The pictures of pure guy with our Biology Practical lecturers Pn Noorliza.
The last moments of our Biology experiments.
A groups of 'scientist'just completing the experiments and the table is in total mess.^^
A group of Phd holders: Hussein, me ,izuan, khang way and izuddin.:P
A group of us have going mad at the end of the experiments..Joking joking.. LOL.
Well.there is all about our class traits during the experiments. the characters of everyone being on the experiments sound fun .Haha.
Still, there is no accidents happening so far till the end of experiments , that is the thing we all be grateful of.
