Wesak Day is the most important and sacred day for Buddhists throughout the world who observe the day of the birth, enlightenment and the passing of Gautama Buddha.
Just before i went down to KL on 28th May that night, mum , brother and i have the chance to watch and enjoy a great 卫赛节游行(Actually, mum had the plan of going to watch as what she did every year)It starts as early as 6pm and we have watched the whole processions roughy 1 hour.It is really a great and spectacular view on seeing every Buddhism organisations and clubs to have their own' designated symbols' to display along the road.
More than 5,000 Buddhist devotees accompanied a procession of 69 decorated floats in conjunction of Wesak Day in Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia.

The grand float procession covers a 7 km route started from Malaysian Buddhist Association (MBA) at Burmah Road and passes through Pangkor Road, Kelawei Road,Burmah Lane, Burmah Road, Peel Avenue, Macalister Road, Anson Road and Madras Lane before returning to MBA.

It is very crowded with lots of people and we manage to watch the whole prcessions.=)
