About the SMS language-the fantastic abbrevations , sometimes people type in short form because they just want to save the space, as some features limit the number of letters.SMS short form. Admit it, we all use it but for most of us it's for practical reasons. Most of the time English short-forms are still legible, it's the Malay ones that never fail to make my forehead crinkle as I try to decipher the message.LOL
I'd answer "no" to every request written in "leetspeak" simply because it's faster to type "no". As some are so lazy to spend another two seconds writing their words in full, I would also be lazy to spend an extra second to type out that extra one letter.
I won't fault you if you use short-hand or "leetspeak" in making notes for yourselves. As long as you can understand what is written, that's fine. But if you were to give me your short-hand notes and expect me to understand them, you'd better just make an audio recording of what you've written and give that to me instead. Initially i would be like that, but i understand that with the trends of so many people being like that---using short forms in SMSing would becomes a trend rather than a fault,so i will just tolerate it. HAHA..i am going to learn the above lists of SMS Jargons so that i won't be lagging behind and be a geek of SMS languages than you guys.
